5 axis simulator

We recently purchased a 5axis post for are haas with a trunnion is ther a place to download a simulator

What kind of simulator are you looking at a 5 axis verify one that does not show you what will really happen on the machine or a true nc verify that will show you what is really going on. The Add-on right is $$$ if you wait for X3 it is free so I would wait if it were me to get the true 5 axis verify for Mastercam if you are getting X3. If not you can buy it, but it is only close it is not to be trusted on the Machine Again I WILL REPEAT THAT IT IS NOT TO EB TRUSTED ON THE MACHINE!!!!! Vericut or another 5 axis G-code verifier is you best bet. There is the free Camiax chook that works with X2, that you can get, but again only shows close enough not to be trusted IMHO.

You can use Camaix's machinesim to do some verification, but it's upstream of the gcode. It's about as close to gcode verification you can get.

Was wondering if I need to add something to my post as I load up caimax in mastercam and it errors out stating that my post did not generate any sim ...Will I have to create a machine from scratch...or can i use one of the configs that are very close in here?
