Adding canned cycle to haas

Ok I have a post for my sl-30 which works pretty good, but for some reason I can’t use chip break and also I would like to ad the ability to use canned cycles. This is all done in the post I would imagine. I will put my post and machine def. on the ftp under Lathex2_haas_sl.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Seth

I am having the EXACT same problem only with a sl-20, but same code issues. I have tried in the control def and all canned cycles are enabled but it does not post out correctly. Any other things to look at ? The post does not even seem to be configured to run a g83 cycle.

I got it working to post a drill cycle and a peck cycle. Problems are as follows I am having a hard time getting a g80 and some clearance/retract return issues with the string ( if initht <> refht, pbld, n, sg00, initht_z, e) And so, I just ended up hard coding it in to G80 and z.1, the refreturn is screwy if you use more than 1 cycle with the same return plane (.1,.5, whatever) but it posts correctly to the retract if you are using different heights, any suggestions to force a retract after every cycle and a better way to force a g80? here is the code
