Opening in wrong version

Hi guys, I'm having some trouble opening X2 files by just clicking on them. It wants to open in an old version. I tried to do the "open with" thing that windows has but it won't stick. I can't uninstall the old version because the other guy I work with won't use X2 so I'm stuck having both on my computer. Thanks, Wayne

when you save them do you save them as version 2 in the options box.

Yep, They say there X2 files. Thet just won't open in X2.

I have the exact same problem and brought it up in another thread. Never figured out what was causing it. Sorry I can't help. I suspect for me it's IT related, my computer's locked down pretty tight.

When saving onto an old version, you will lose your toolpath.

 

That is a good question, if we want to save in an old version...
