Hi,

 

Using Mastercam 9 and am wondering if it is possible to edit text that has been imported from a .DWG file.

 

When I open the file, the text is there, but I am unable to change it in any way.

 

I would like to be able to edit the text and use the text in toolpaths. I also need to convert the text to lines and arcs and export the file as a .DWG. The files being used are generated in another package, so I can't use Mastercam's text creator.

 

Any help would be appreciated.
