That's one thing I have never understood. Why don't they save toolpaths as well if none of the "new version" features were used. I can't imagine it would be that difficult to do and if a new toolpath that wasn't backward compatable had been programmed a msgbox would popup saying so. Oh well, I'm sure they have much more important things to worry about. biggrin.gif

rdshear - It has to do with database maintenance within Mastercam. The geometry can simply be converted, the toolpaths cannot. We make database changes every major release (V9 ---> X ---> X2 ---> X3) to increase product stability and calculation speed, amongst other things. This is the rough side effect of it. The data just is not the same.
