Change A axis to B

I am not a post guru, but I think this one even I can do with a little help. I need to change the post to produce B axis moves instead of A.

Is your Geometry positioned correctly? I am not familiar with that post.

 

For Horizontal (WCS set to top) the front plane is B0 with left and right planes being B270 and B90.

you should be able to edit the MD/CD for B instead of A

 

I think it's just a change in the MD and you would be good to go. One of the Gurus can help more I'm sure.

My geometry is positioned correctly. I rotate the Gview around the Y axis and save it.

 

WCS= Top

Tplane= rotated view

Construction plane= rotated view

Well everything sounds right to me. I think what Jimmy said is probably your best bet. Unfortunately I have never tried that before.

 

Thinking out loud, if the post is older there might be a switch in it to change the post from a vertical to a horizontal.

I just tried replacing a HMC B-axis with an HMC A-axis in my Mpmaster machine def and I got the desired result it went from B output to A output.

Is there any way you could post a screenshot of your machine definition manager front page?

I changed mine within the Machine Definition, open the "B" axis and it asks what you want to label it mine was set to "B" I changed this in the drop down list to an "A" and it fixed the problem...

Thanks guys, But the output code never changed when I changed the axis label in the machine definition. I had a time trying to figure it out but I did!
