TOOLPATH ROTATION BY TOOLPLANE

Hi guys: I have loaded a V9 file named test_rotation.mc9 to Cadcam's site hoping you can give me a lead on what I'm doing wrong.

I want to machine some features (previously chained) on the same face using transform rotate by toolplane and my replot shows it like I want it on the screen but the code output is not what I want. example: for the holes spotted at Xminus Yminus I expect the transform code to be on the opposite side, example: Xplus, Yplus. I could chain the geometry for the second part but I think transform toolpath should do it.

Sorry for the long post; Hope you can make sense.

Thanks

I'm assuming a 3-Axis vertical for this response...

Transform rotate by toolplane from the top is interpreted by Mastercam to be a rotation of a C-Axis axis about Z. The table moves by your rotation amount, therefore the xyz coords are identical. Give 'Coordinates' a whirl instead of Toolplane.

I had tried that and noticed that the code output was correct as you suggested but I need the new work offset callout because the boss expects no hand editing in the final program. I thought the problem might be a post issue... We use a post derived from the mpfanbax post and it works good on our makino horizontals. I hope I'm responding to what you meant....
