Checking UV directions.

Collin mentioned this in another post.

"Check your Flow parameters. The cut direction can be set the same for 11 of the 16 surfaces, the surfaces near the Top (in ISO view) have different UV directions, so they can't be used in the same Flowline operation."

Is there a simple way to check UV directions?

Can they be changed or reversed without recreating the surface?

I occasionally run into flowline problems with abrupt directional changes in the middle of cutter paths. I'm thinking the UV's may be the problem.

As you create your flowline operation, selecting the geometry, on the geometry selection dialog, there is a "Flowline Data" button on the bottom.

Clicking that will show the U/V directions of your surfaces. You can only change them as a group. There are several options for direction, cut direction, cutting side, staring point.

If something is out of sync you'll have to recreate the surface or consider a different method, or creating and additional path.
