MpMaster Drill Cycle touble??

I ran into some trouble with MpMaster

yesterday and want to see if anyone else

has seen this..

The details..

X3 with the latest MpMaster..on a horizontal 4 axis mill

My file has 120 operations on 10 different

tool planes..

I'm having trouble with G98/G99 output

in canned drill cycles.

My spot drill does 5 different hole patterns.

"Use clearance only at start and end"

is unchecked... G98 is the desired output.

If I post the spot drill by itself every toolpath

outputs a G98.. so far so good

If I post the entire file the first hole pattern of each tool is G98 and the rest are G99 which would cause an ugly crash.

A couple of the drill and tap toolpaths that do multiple patterns also post this way.

I tried posting with a generic Mastercam machine

and it posted correctly.

I think this has been going on since X2 at least..

I had a nasty crash last summer when a G99 should

have been a G98. Opertors have complained about

G99's a couple of times..

I always aassumed I had the operation set

wrong... but never had time to follow up..

Is anybody else seeing this behavior??

Does anybody know what the Control Def setting

"Return to Initial Height" on the

Machine Cycles page is suppossed to do??

I alaways leave it set to

Return to Initial Height.

I wrote this up and sent a zip2go to InHouse..

I'll report on thier finding.
