I messed up my NCI location.. HELP

My network dude moved the files I had on the server for mastercam to a different location and now when I edit an old file I can't repost because it can't find the old NCI file that goes with it... I have pointed everything I can find to the new location... New files work fine, just the old ones are a problem

How do I reset where an existing file looks for it's old NCI file...

Thanks

You might try opening your config and turning the "Restore entire toolpath data in File,Open" in ~files~ off to eliminate the error, then pointing the NC file name to the place you want it(which should point the NCI to the same place) Might require a regen and I really don't know if it will work, just an idea.

bonk.gif MLS's way should work. headscratch.gifidea.gif Change NC name(in X) is the same as change nci name/path(V9 and older). Even if you use the same nc name the nci name/path should follow the path set up in config page under file paths->nci.

Make sure your nci path is set to the root directory or folder the old nci is in.

Select group -> right click -> Change NC name -> Regen -> Post.
