Why does it take so long to regen a simple toolpath

Hello all,

When I regenerate a simple tool path (contour of a small chain) I see an image of what looks like an STL file of my stock appear, my stock is a solid on a level by itself. Then the tool path slowly regenerates , very slowly.

This seems to happen on all toolpaths, from surfacing paths to simple chains.

Is there a switch somewhere that is telling it to use an STL file when I regenerate?

Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

In the Ops Manager...

Properties/Stock Setup..

You've got a solid model or STL file defined as

stock.. CHange it to rectangular and you should see your regent times improve..

Its a lame workaround.. but it works

you can still use the solid or stl file in Verify

without causing the slowdown
