New Haas, what are my rights?

I wish I had something good to say, but Haas just bought back there vm3 after eight months of trying to figure out what was happening. I applaud them for stepping to the plate and buying back the machine, but it cost us a fortune in customer relations, building payments, lost work ect. You name it. I am going to be very wary no matter what machine we might be replacing this machine with..... curse.gif

We've had our VF5 for going on 3 years now and after my initial disappointment that we didn't get the machine I wanted and then having to learn the Haas controller, which actually is not too bad, it's been a pretty good machine. We only cut aluminum thermoforming molds with it and some plastics milling, nothing with close tolerances, so I must admit it's been a good investment. We've had to replace a couple of cards over the years, but otherwise its been reliable. The main thing that bothers me about it is that they use the coolant to cool the spindle, 10000 RPM, so we've had to rig up a bypass to run parts that we don't run with flood coolant.
