is there a post that is generic for a horizontal machine thats comes with mastercam? i would like to have a start point to mod it. I just got a mazak hcn 6000 and want to start posting to it. thanks.

There are horizontal posts that will install with Mastercam, you may need to install the additional machine defs that are on the discs.

 

 

you should contact your reseller to see what is availble for that specific machine.

I would spend some money to get an already proven post for the machine. After spending that kind of money whats another few dollars to start making parts right away.
