Color mask doesn't work in chaining

I just started using MCX3 MU1 about one month ago. When I chain something with the color mask on the chain still stops at all branch points. I have tried in 2-d and 3-d and it makes no difference. In v9 my color mask worked great. Is there something I am missing here?

Also, when I offset it appears that the entity that I offset vanishes. If I hit F3 to refresh it appears at the position it was offset to. Is there a reaason that the entity is invisable until I F3. This is annoying because untiil I figured out what was going on I thought the entity was deleted.

Thanks,

Mike

As for the geometry that vanishes, try disabling the hardware acceleration of the video card..

And if that works it is likely time to consider upgrading that card.

It does "sound" like a video card issue for certain.

The "low" end GeForce cards, ATI cards and integrated cards, NONE of them generally work well.

I just drew 3 rectangles in the same exact spot, overlying each other.

I changes colors so all 3 were different colors.

I went to Only, selected a color, selected chain and the selected color chained in either 2D or 3D mode.

Can you share your file to see if this is file specific?

You can do a Click and save to download and see how it worked for me.
