Angled head in Lathe

I have a HAAS SL20 that I have an angled head set to 45° with a drill in it. The angle head is Live.

 

Can I get MC to out put a drilling or long hand drilling cycle using an angle head in a Lathe?

give Russell or Alf a call,

they just gave us a module with a right angled head for use on a MacTurn550

 

We are in the stages of seting it up, so cannot help other than that.

I had the same question a while back. There would need to be a post mod to add the aggregate info. Inhouse would probably be the best bet.

Its not a agregatd head it can be set at any angle from zero through to 90.

So its not really an aggregate.

 

It would just need to be able to use a a custom TC Plane.

Just like our Integrex which uses a TC Plane to creat toolpaths normal to that plane.

Yeh, I know what you mean Bruce, I was talking about the ADJUSTABLE ANGULAR HEADS on a Macturn550 , the B-axis goes from 0 to 180 and has another spindle as the tailstock ( a big bugger )
