Machine without cutters or not

How is this possible? Toolpath runs and will regenerate with no tools? Or tool 10, which is it? As you can clearly see below, tool 10 is there but it's not. Nice bug Mastercam.

In my office Mike and myself BOTH submitted this issue one on Thursday and one on Friday.

 

Send it into QC.

 

How long have you been using your tool library? Is it older that has been brought forward?

It has been converted (imported) form X3 when MU1 started requiring it. We have 7 PC's and any one of them may run any of 6 CNC mills so the tools folder is on a network drive so when someone moves to a different machine his tool list will be current, not what was in the machine the last time it was run from his PC.

I find if I move or copy a file into another group and it prompts me to create another tool....and of course i regularily say no ....I dont want a copy ....and I get the same thing....the tool is not there on the screen ....but its there ...I think

I have had the same thing happen. my tool lib. is old X and has been updated, to X3 now. I have found that closing restarting the computer and reopening the file fixes it.

I'm having the same issue, so following your advice I rebooted my computer but the tool is still invisible.

I have seen this issue several times in X/X2 but I am thinking it was only in the advanced multiaxis. I think the work-around was to select the tool first, hit escape and then select the parameters.

All the tools were there, But they are in previous Machine group.
