  1. Me too, this problem is happened to circle wire frame only, It works ok with solids or surfaces
  2. All the tools were there, But they are in previous Machine group. HTH
  3. Jmc, I just base on his info. quote: So if I have a hole on the left side it goes B25 and if I have a hole on the right side it goes B335. I want it to say B-335.
  4. quote: So if I have a hole on the left side it goes B25 and if I have a hole on the right side it goes B335. I want it to say B-335. Don't confuse yourself B335 = B-25. (not B-335.) quote: It's the new MPMASTER 9.1 ver post If you use Mpmaster.post. Look at this section: code: rot_ccw_pos : 1 #Axis signed dir, 0 = CW positive, 1 = CCW positive ret_on_indx : 0 #Machine home retract on rotary index moves, (0 = no, 1 = yes) index : 0 #Use index positioning, 0 = Full Rotary, 1 = Index only ctable : 5 #Degrees for each index step with indexing spindle one_rev : 0 #Limit rotary indexing between 0 and 360? 5. There was a NETHook created by Mick From CNC for this fuction. Link HTH
  6. Thank Millman and Paul, I don't understand why they took hot Key for Text away. If it is conflicts they could asign different letter. Thanks
  7. With X2MR1, within "Smart Dimension", click the dimension and type "T" for text bring up Text edit box. Bring the mouse (pointer) over the icon, which letter is Underline that is the sort Key. sort Key for X2MR1: T = Text H = height ... With X2MR2. They change the sort Key around. Now T = height H = Horizontal ... I couldn't find any sort key for Text .... ??????
  8. quote: but if that was the problem how would sending to toolchange or running in single block prevent it "losing its position" It is a great question? I have nerver end up that problem. So I am not sure about that ____
  9. We run ISO G-code in our Mazak Variaxis 630 for last few years without any problem. The problem is THE LENGHT OFFSET LINE. The Mazak has it own lenght offset table come with each tool. So in program format don't use any H number in G43 line. Ex: (this is what we use) N1 T1 M6 N100 (#5 EXT. CENTER DRILL) N102 S1019 F3.06 N104 (M16 HOLES) N106 G0 G90 A0. C0. N108 X-1.3386 Y0. N110 G43 Z15.149 M8 ( <==== No H1 value ) N112 M3 N114 G98 G81 Z9.864 R10.124 F3.06 N116 X1.3386 Y0. N118 G80 N120 M9 N122 M5 N124 G91 G28 Z0. HTH
  10. Thanks I tried MBD and crashes for me too _____
  11. Thanks Mick. It is nice tool. Work only for MCX files, how about MC9 files and previous VER.
  12. Randy, Now, I am not sure what you asking for ? So I assume we have two question: Q 1. you want to create new Dim and Adding Tol. Ans: Example if you want to create new horizontal dim. After you pick two end point type "t" or use icon, bring edit text box and then add whatever... Q 2. You want to edit existing Dim. Ans: Use "Anylyze entity properties" as per Del. metioned above. for me I use "Smart Dimention" and pick the one I want to edit and type "T" Note: t for text h for high d for dia ...
  13. John, You got mail Qmp
  14. John Summers I use flat geo and the toolpath parameter automatic roll it for me. where do I change it to -90 ? If I roll GEO first ( set a positioning to -90 as you said ) and then the backplot look ok but in Verify and NC file off -90 deg. If you need the file I will send it to you to take a look. Qmp
  15. John Summers, That is exactly what I meant. I took the file that was created in V9, then read in X2, when you backplot it shift 90 deg. different from V9. But if you Verify or post to NC file, it is correct. Like you said: In V9, the defaults are CW, -90. I assume that in X2, the defaults are 0. That why I got the different. So I am not sure, I have done something wrong or is it a bug with X2 Qmp
  16. CRFJim, I am late in this topic. but I can help if you send me a file too. We do alot of 4-Axis substitution here. It work fine with V9. John Summers, We have problem with X2MR1SP1 for 4-Axis substitution, somehow The start of toolpath shift 90 deg. away from it should be (compare to V9.) Qmp
  17. Paul, We had same problems here, Specially this affected to 5-Asix (3+2) programmers a lot. I hope CNC will address this issue soon. Qmp
  18. It worked fine here with X2MR1, Maybe you have more than one solid on screen. Qmp
  19. ToolMan, "V9 Did the same thing when using geometry to create the plane. " No, Previous Version or V9 was fine, It is never changed the origin when you pick new Tplane / Cplane. That why they didn't pay attention to Origin. "Sounds like they need some training" This programmer is 10+ years expert on 3+2 and 5-Axis programming, the way He did it worked fine in the past. Like I wrote a bove " This was a first job he progrmming in X" that why it happend. -----
  20. I have two programmers refused to use X,they stay with V9 untill all the bugs fixed. Because thier nc file got "BIG CRASH" on the 5-Axis Machine, at the first time they used X Reason: Tplane and Cplane is suck in X, When you pick up new Tplane, It change The Origin X0 Y0 Z0 and they didn't know. This Topic cover the link below: links Qmp -------
  21. Before you change the Tool Number In Toolpath Op manager > click files > bring up Machine Group properties > click Tool Settings > uncheck Use tool's step, peck, coolant. Qmp
  22. Go into settings > config > Cad settings > uncheck "update Cplane and Tplane when changing Gview" Qmp
  23. There are two different Catia Converter. One from Mcx and one from Moulplus, With one you had ordered. If the one from Moulplus (c-hook), you have to install software and setup the codes from there setting. Qmp
