Does haas lease machines?

Like car dealerships? Something like a two year term where at the end of the term you return it, or have the option to buy? I checked their site, but under leasing all they list is financing options.

They used to have a $5 buyout lease that ran for 5 years. I'm sure they still do since they have their own financing arm.

I read somewhere that Haas recently laid off 650

people.. I'm sure they are hurting and I'm sure its a buyers market..I've bought machines on a 5 year lease with a dollar buyout.. Its really a buy

but they structure it like alease for tax purposes.. as bad as the business is getting

there are probably some really good deals out there.. you might be able to pick up nearly new machine by just taking over the payments and paying for the move... just last summer things

were booming and machines were flying out the door... how quickly things change

It probably all depends on the HFO you're using.

Thanks for the the info guys! I just recently bought a house, and consequently qualify for the $8000 credit and am trying to figure out a good way to apply it towards gettting some sort of machine, without getting in over my head.

Be careful where and who you lease from...if you send your upfront payments to a company on the other side of the country and they are shady shifty crooks can you go to court on the other side of the country??
