MX2 error box..

For the past week all my levels when being built on screen have been really slow I can see one surface at a time being regenerated and its not good. This error box has been poppping up on me 2 to 3 times daily and I have to reopen MX WTF can someone tell me why .............

Ok this seems to happen everytime i copy entities to another level and try to create curve on one edge. As soon as I click create curve that MCCore error pops up and bang gotta shut it down...

Have you tried going into the Control panel, launching the X utility and unregistering and reregistering the MCCore.dll file.

 

Short of that working I am leaning towards you have something corrupt and may need to attempt a repair installation.

Actually it sounds like one of the OCX's needs to be re-registered.

The easiest way to do this is to do a 'repair' install.

John I tried and got an Initialize error.. On Unregister and register...

Yeah, I would suggest a repair installation.

WTF - You have got to be kidding me.. After a repair install no diff what so ever. Everytime I want to create a line after curve on edge or even a level change I get that damn MCcore parameter is incorrect..

Rename McamX folder to save your work. Uninstall Mastercam and reinstall it fresh and start again.

I just had the exact same problem occur to me. Even after repair install. It would work for a while and that MCCore Error: Parameter is incorrect would come back after I create a line.

 

After that happens there's an odd chance that it still works but just the ribbon bar incomplete with my previous task up.

 

What the heck is the problem.
