New Makino, how to shift SGI

Just got a new A61 Makino, wondering about how most of you guys change your SGI look ahead between the standard and fine cut for critical dims. Do you just use a manual entry operation, or have something like a misc. value/integer setup for it? We have ordered a post from our dealer who is going to Inhouse for it. I've had no experience with Makino, lot's to learn.

Thanks guys. The machine is supposed to be ready to go on Monday. Got to get the tombstones cut and then on to the parts if we get them programmed in time. Totally snowed under!!

Great choice!! You will love it. I also have mine set up with misc. integers. If you had a laser installed you can also set up a misc int. for the different macros.

Not getting a lazer or probe at this time, maybe in the future. I don't write the POs or the checks, just use what comes in the door.
