tool mark on bore wall

Is their a way to machine a bore with an end mill and not leave a mark where the tool pulls out in the xy plane. There is no z move when the cutter is against the wall. The end mill is a 4 flute carbide with differential helix, 3/4 dia. The bore is 1.6" deep.

Thanks

you may have ball-screw backlash issues or servo lag issues if it leaves a mark like that, for sure use arc in and out and try a spring pass just in case it is deflection, otherwise I suspect a machine issue.

can you actually feel the mark? or is it only visual?
