o/t dual monitors no display in one

Quadro fx 3000 card (yeah it's a dinosaur) running two samsung lcd's. Both Mastercam and Solidworks will only work in one of the two displays (same display). I can drag the apps over and see the menus and such, but not the graphics area.

Funny if it's bridging the screens, still shows on one, and nothing on the other. Driver issue? Doesn't matter if Dualview is running or not.

I'll bet you are running Dell drivers.

For some reason, Dell kills most of the

Dual monitor stuff.

Get your drivers from Nvida's website

or use the SolidWorks certified driver

from the SolidWorks support site.

If that doesn't work, you've probably got a

bad card.

No Dell stuff for me. Home built rig. I'm using a recent driver (5/26/08) recommended on the sw home site. It's 6.14.11.6996. Maybe I'll play around with some newer ones?

Years ago when you had 2 monitors, 3D apps & playing movies could only happen on the main monitor. Thats the one that has the taskbar.

Chris, have you activated the nView Desktop Manager?

I've tried it with and with out nview active. However I know there are quite of few setting in there that I am not to familiar with.
