What's wrong with work offsets

You create the first tool path and G54 is the offset. Later if you need a G55 or whatever, you go into planes setting, check the box which has -1 by default. Then change to 1 to get G55 and it will stay at G55. Put 0 in the box on a later op the one after that reverts back to 1 and you get G55 when you were expecting G54. Why does MC not want to stay at G54 once you move off it? It will stay on anything else but not G54.

Leave your WCS alone.

Set the workoffset option in your tool planes

Make a copy of each toolplane for each required

work offset.

Label them and set the offest as needed.

Then use them in Toolplanes/Contruction Planes

to control work offset output.

Turn on "Toolplanes" in your

OPs Manager so you can keep track of things.

There is a switch in most 5 axis posts

you'll have to set as well

use_frst_wcs: no$

I do this all the time and it works well.

My current project is a 4 axis job

with 6 different work offsets, but I've done

the same with 5 axis double rotary work
