Rotary Axis tab on contour machining

Hey Friends.

 

I have a cylinder with 9 slots with a 3/32 ball nose. Cuts are down the length. I know how and where to put the code for rotating the 4th axis. Anyone got a good tip on using the rotary tab. 9 slots at 40 degree increments.

 

Also Slots running around the diamter. Any tips on these cuts would be cool also. The training at the MC dealer can't come soon enough.

Thanks got it. I assume use the same for running around the diameter.

You certainly can, yes. Program the one slot and then use this method to create the rest of them.
