Sending code to Machine ALARM

I upgraded to X3 and I am using the same post the MC dealer set me up with. I send code to machine and get ALARM message. Says

 

 

data entry is not a number

 

number enrty is out of range

 

 

Program number is O0057

 

The program loads with line numbers etc.

any guess. I am using the same post.

what kind of control?

alarm number?

do you get any of the program in the control?

does your control alarm out after line number N9999?

 

just a guess but it sounds like to me the block numbers are counting to high (N99999)

248 alarm number only-- fixed other alarm

 

dry run on haas screen- tool paths look nothing like what they should be.

 

then x over travel error. datums are correct.

sounds like it, did you try the haas post that comes with MC just to compare the G code

MPMaster works great with version X, don't know about X3 though.

MPmaster works good in X3

try adding another zero making it O00057. This is what we had to do for our Haas. You are also going to find out you can have only about 80 characters per line or it will alarm out.this generally happens with to much info in the header.
