We run Mikrons with the TNC 530 here, but we use the conversational .H files. We don't do anything special to utilize the accel/decel other than output cycle 32 at the beginning of each opertaion. Our default tolerance is .0006" but we may run it as high as .05" to really free up the machine maotion with it does not matter or as tight as .0001" on really small machine motions.

Cycle def 32

I set the tolerance to .0002 for finishing and to .005 for roughing, 32.1 is the tolerance and 32.2 is 0 for finishing 1 for roughing. I change it for what I am doing. The nicest thing about it is that if your finish circle milling a bore set the tolerance to what you need and type in a high feed and it will max feed the machine can use to cut the bore to your set tolerance.

Very nice feature.
