MCX3 LATHE POST ? OR NOT

HOW DO I GET MCX3 TO NOT PUT G28U0.W0.

G50X20.Z20.0 AT THE START OF THE PROGRAM ??? MC9 STARTED WITH GOT202 OR WHATEVER TOOL YOU WERE USING. IT CAN'T HAVE A G54 EITHER BUT I GOT RID OF THAT. HELP !!!

i am not a lathe but guy try this

CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOU DONT HAVE HOME POSITION OR REF POSITION TURNED ON

and TURN your caps lock off its considered YELLING there is no reason to yell about it when you dont get an answer the first time

I could pose this question or all the others to my dealer but he probably wouldn't enjoy it.Besides...isn't that what a forum is for ???

Look at the Misc Values.

 

Many time those values having a 0,1 or 2 can trigger different out put

If it is a Fanuc post, mi1 is usually the culprit

Might be surprised what your dealer would like to hear from you. They are not evil people and all of them like to get to know their customers. I have gotten all types of free things over the years from the many different dealers I have dealt with just by staying in touch with them. They are busy like anyone yes, but they have a job to do just like anyone and by keeping them in the loop keep you fresh on their minds.

I Have dealt with my dealer many times...I just like to read and use this forum.It's supprising what you can learn from reading others.Sometimes just a quick little post can take care of a little pain in the butt problem rather quickly.I have tried most of these quick fixes myself but it might be the right combination of these that help.
