New install

Hello all,

My comapany just issued a P.O. for 2 seats of level 1 mastercam mill, 2 seats of pro-drill and a CATIA translator. Manufacturing mostly die details. I am a 4yr. experienced toolpather, but brand new to mastercam. Anything you guys think I should do or know. Maybe things you wish you knew ahead of time, or had to learn the hard way. If I could learn from others experiences, that would be great.

Have them shell out for the training from your reseller. Definately worth it's money.

Die details. Your gonna need level 3. The solids option also, if no cad system is present. Not really sure about pro drill capabilties, but MC should handle most drill opps easily.
