X4 Facing Depth Cuts is not working

I have problem with Facing Depth of Cuts in X4, It is not working. Anybody else has same issue.

It works perfectly fine.

 

Have you told it that there is stock above zero?

 

Go into the Linking Parameters and make sure Top of Stock is set with something above your actually depth, like zero.

 

This is the way Facing has always worked

I have the same problem here regardless of what top of stock or final depth settings I use. It will disable the depth of cuts when it regens.

I'd like to see someone's file that says it doesn't work..

Have had it happen here too. Top of stock +.15 cut depth 0. Depth cuts max. .1 finish pass 1 w/.01 depth. Go to back plot does 1 pass. Go back into parameters and depth cuts is unchecked. Tried putting top of stock at 0 and depth at -.15 same thing.

I believe when using facing, the actual stock definition has to be correct to get depth cuts. IE: Your stock needs to be +.15 in Z also, not just in the operation parameters alone.

Yes, I did. Top of stock = 0, Depth = -1.0 (Both=Absolute) and D

 

It is funny, It work fine on my Co-worker Computer.

So the issue I am guessing is the Depth Cuts doesn't stay checked, correct?

 

Use the Green Check and NOT the apply button

That's got to be a bug when you have to use the check and not apply.
