Slot Master tool

Has anyone used one of these? Indexable inserted slotting tool.

I got one and it has parallelogram inserts. I can either have a parallel slot with angled sides, or a perp side, with an angled slot.

I need to set up the insert so I get both parallel and perpendicular.

The tool is made by Michigan Drill Corp.

I'm open to any suggestions.

interstate is the only one I know of that makes one. MSC/J&L has it on their website. 07177348, 07177355 and 07177363.

Unless I am missing something special, most of the major companies (iscar, kennametal, sandvick etc.) Make tools like this.

I have one,.I just cant seem to get the slot configuration I want.

I want 90 deg top and bottom

Maybe I should get 90deg square inserts?

Cant seem to configure it any other way
