Go ahead, laugh smile.gif

The drawings are becoming more complex, and I would like to start naming views so I can access them without setting cplane again.

When I go to gview/named it gives me a cute little view manager I have never used before. How do I just access this view manager to organize and name views?

Yes I draw compressor wheels and have never named a view. Been using mastercam since 3.1 and have never named a view.

Not sure exactly what you are trying to accomplish, because you can do a lot in the view manager. But here is a dirty tutorial.

1)Rotate part on the screen to your desired view using Gview-Dynamic

2)Press Gview button on left menu bar

3)Click "Named" on left menu bar

4)Right click in white area of the view manager

5)Create...

6)Copy current view

7)Name it JAMMAN and press ok button

Now the view should be saved with your file, and at anytime you can click Gview on the left menu=>Named and double click JAMMAN and your custom view should display.

Let me know how you make out.
