Mill Facing Chain

Hello Everyone:

 

Again please bear with me; I am very new to MasterCAM. If I use an incorrect term please let me know the correct term to use.

 

 

I am trying to mill a face or a pocket. But when I get to the chain part of the program I get lost. I have tried a couple of different things and I can’t make anything work.

 

Can someone please tell me what I need to do in beginner’s terms?

 

I am using X2 demo version.

You should look for some tutorials online or consider buying some of the books they sell here covering Mill level 1 all the way to the 5 axis stuff, they are really a good investment if you are serious about learning and they will get you machining in no time.

You should try Streamingteacher.com they offer some wonderful online training that covers Mill. Lathe and Router for X2.
