Running multiple X4 windows

Does anybody have trouble when they try to run more than one instance of Mastercam X4?

 

I had two X4 windows open and was trying to work in the 2nd while a toolpath was crunching in the 1st. I got several memory errors that shut the toolpath down.

 

I rebooted machine, opened one instance of X4 and it regenerated OK.

 

Now I have to wonder if it's a problem with temp files, memory allocation, has to do with heavy number crunching, or just something that happened this time but isn't really an ongoing problem.

 

There is, of course, the warning that happens when you open multiple instances of Mastercam.

Nope....3-4 sometimes more open all the time here. No problems, YET!

How much RAM do you have?

3 gig in a Windows XP box...

 

My computer's getting kinda old...I need to get one of those 30 second benchmark computers.
