Splines into Arcs X4

Where do I go to change splines into arcs? also where can I go to create a 3 point circle? I see the 3 point arc, but I want to create a circle.

To convert splines to arcs you use:

 

Edit/Simplify

 

I can't help you with the 3 point circle.

Create Circle Edge Point has the option of selecting 2 or 3 points

 

spline to arcs

 

3 different ways with varing results..

edit/simplyfy

 

edit/break many and select arcs

 

runs a toolpath on them with comp at 0

and filter on ..

backplot and save the geometry..

this is the most work and usuallly yeilds the best results.

You can create a 3 point arc and use

Edit>trim/break>close arc to turn any arc into a full circle.

Thanks to everyone.....only wish they had not screwed up everything when they made the change to X

 

Seems everything takes 4 times as many moves to do simple things.

All it takes is a little time to explore it and you'll be fine.

Yep. Once you get used to everything, it's light years better.

 

I've always had great luck with edit>simplify.
