hey guys,

we're used to using subprograms (in the main program) with most of our hand written code.. so something like this:

t1m6 (rough)

g0g54x0y0g97s100m3

m97p1000

t2 (finish)

... blah blah

m97p1000

t3 (chamfer)

...

m97p1000

m30

n1000

(code)

m99

is there a way to do that in mastercam? the code ends up a little more compact and easier for him to call up a certain operation...

also we deal with parts with multiple operations. So we might work on one side and then flip it over and fixture it to work on the other side...when we do that the zero might change... we wanted to get all of those in one program. any ideas on how to do that in mastercam?

i know this might sound confusing so let me know if you need more details...

thanks,

manoj
