Hi Guy's

Need some assistance we just got some new work the first in over a year and the spec on the threaded features is SAE J514-4 Port. Never worked with this before and the print doesn't define it. We found the spec but the owner doesn't want to spend the money to buy it?

If anyone can give me a hand I would greatly appreciate it.

Here's the tool I use.

 

Here are some specs. The thread is 7/16-20. You can machine it in but it will be far less costly to get a tool. The Accuport tool shown above is a sweet tool but it does have a price. You can get the Tosco reamer for less cost but you also get less performance. Metcut and Scientific cutting tools also make reamers. If you're only making a few holes the reamer may be the better choice.
