MU1 config problem

I installed mu1 now when i go to settings- configuration- start/exit in the startup settings the configurations window is blank and the current window at the bottom is blank

 

if i make a change to the config and try to save it, it says the parameter is incorrect .

 

 

how do i get it show what config i'm using

i did a total uninstall , installed everything and that fixed it! thanks me

I have the same problem. Uninstall/reinstall did not fix it. Any other suggestions?

IF you have a problem with the config file, I would close MC, go into the /config folder & rename the default configuration file & restart MC. That should create a new default configuration.

It created a new config file, but it still won't see the file in the configuration settings page or let me save the current configuration to a new file. Even with new config file created, I still get an error on starting Mastercam:

 

"User-specified startup config file was not available. Setting Mastercam to the default config file for this session only"

1 of the problems was that when i installed x4 i named my folder mcamx4 .then when i installed MU1 it made a folder mcamx and changed the target to mcamx .so i had a mcamx and mcamx4 folder i tried coping the files from the mcamx folder to the mcamx4 folder but i kept getting errors so i just uninstalled everything .

I talked to my reseller and he got it fixed. There were paths in the registry that were still pointing to mcamx3, which had been uninstalled. He has run into this a few times.

Thanks! This helped me. Error occurred with McamX4 on my WinXP system. As advertised, the McamX4 parameters in the registry were still set to X3 paths that were deleted by uninstall. I fixed them myself (not for everyone to try at home).
