TOOL PATH QUESTION

Good explanation Colin. We do fairly complex valve bodies that are an "ocean of radii and angles" on the outer profiles. I routinely get models that are not filleted in the internal corners, yet the print calls for say 3/8 radii. I don't bother modeling them in, as it would take forever, and we all know that MC is not the best at 3d fillet modeling.

Well, I just run on the toolpath fillet during roughing, and the flat bottom EM leaves steps where the rads would be, leaving enough material to finish as if there actually were fillets in the model.

I hope this is clear..... confused.gif
