Looking for shops on the west coast of the US with...

I was curious to know how I would go about finding a shop with a small barfed multitasking machine with sub spindle and lower turret. Gantry robot might work too.

 

West coast preferred, but for the purposes of this exercise anywhere will do.

 

Would I just look up the MTB's in an area and ask for some contacts??

 

Any ideas?

What specifically are you out to do.

We have 2 mill/turns, one with a Y axis one without.

Shoot me an e-mail. I've got a few. All we do is multi-tasking and our minimum is upper/lower/main and sub. That's our lowliest machine.

Bruce we have mulit-axis with dual spindle capabilities. We also have a single turret live tool dual spindle with bar pusher. However the shops you are looking for do not use Mastercam might contact Esprit or Partmaker for customers that have is capability. We are not in the quote to see what parts cost market, we are in the quote to get work business.

Steve, Mill turns with Y "can" do the job if needed to in low rate production, but the design has been done based on a multitasker with sub and lower.

We've got many customers with 3 turrets (2 upper and 1 lower) and ALL have Y axis. Ron's right though, these guys are using Esprit or Part Maker. MC can do it but wait codes, load balancing and synching is a real b!+¢#
