dynamic rotation in a created wcs

Can anyone tell me how come my gview reverts to the top view when I rotate my part in a created wcs. For instance. If I set my view to iso and click the middle mouse wheel to rotate my part, it flips to the top view instead of rotating smoothly from the isometric view. I have searched the forum on this and have found some info but no real answers. Any help would be greatly appreciated because this is so aggravating.

Try looking in your system configuration/Cad Settings page.

Have you got the Reset Cplanes to Top in Iso Gview Selected?

If so unselect it

Thanks for your reply Nick. I unchecked the box labeled Reset Cplanes to Top in Iso Gview under my cad settings and saved my config. but no luck.

settings-->config-->screen-->use free mode in dynamic spin

Think I have figured it out. Went to Settings/configuration/screen and checked Use 'Free' Mode in Dynamic Spin. This seems to have taken care of my problem.
