every time I post a program it copy an err file same as other how can I elim

inate err file please,

Is this an X4 post??

If so, you need to review the error file and correct the errors it is reporting

If it is an X3 or ealier, you MAY be able to eliminate the .err file by

going to the File page of the Control Def

Set

Keep error file to "on fatal errors"

I did goto Contrl def and change err to go to the screen but still don't work

I a getting this same err. message also evrytime i post???? I am wondering if it has anything to do with my other err. message i get when the post compeletes and my mc editor trys to open it gets an err also, "invalid index value was passed infrmmain" i have another post trying to get help with. R u getting that err. also tridecianla?

I am just saying that i get both errors.I am wondering if they are related. Does your mc editor open just fine?

This is what I get from the reseller...

 

It is part of X4. But if you close Mastercam and then post something a message should pop up asking if you want to see the errors. If you say no and do not show again you should not see that file anymore.

Wow! Our reseller had us send the post to him, fixed the errors, and then he sent them back.

In Settings, Control definition Mgr., Files on lefthand side, set keep error file to "On fatal errors" and "all error messages to file".
