Since updating to MU3 we have seen something odd. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this. When creating a toolpath let's say a 2d contour I go through the motions step by step, and I usually don't need to check/change the home position. An operator comes up and says what's going on - it wanted to go Z-10.75. It was a short tool and errored out prior to crashing. Now I noticed that the home position changes to numbers from I don't know where. They do not match the previous toolpath or the settings in the machine def. Does anyone know where the numbers are coming from and what I can do about it?

My home numbers change all the time

but I've always ignored them as they have

no effect on posted code.

Reference numbers are another story.

I use them alot..

and they will change if you copy toolpaths

and change toolplanes

You can really get hurt if you don't pay

attention..

but nothing has changed with the MU3 upgrade

its always been that way

Now that you mention that we checked it and it is only one machine that will post those numbers (something changed ,but it is probably our old and mangled post that is the real culprit). The machine def has been changed to get the home numbers from the machine def rather than the operations manager and it looks good. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
