reusing chains

If I'm roughing a series of pockets(using pocketing) on a board and want to finish cut using contour and a smaller end mill, what is the best way to reuse the chains that I already selected. I've been going back a rechaining creating new chains this is time consuming and redundant. Using mill 2 V9 .

I believe you could just copy your original pocket program and change your pocket type to Remachining in the parameters, then click the Remachining button at the bottom and check the machine complete finish passes button on. This will give you a countour style finish pass on all the walls (not just in the corners), while also using pocket techniques in the corners.

I Drag and Drop my Drill points

From one operation to another all the time.

Then I delete the points that do not need (the next size drill etc).

That way Everything lines up throughout the job.

and there is less of a chance of picking a wrong point in one of the operations.
