X+ Setup sheet

Hi All

 

Does anyone know how to make the X+ setup sheet add on output the right chucks when using custom holders in your operations. At current I don't get any listing for the chuck size or type.

Could be wrong here but I think it was designed for mill only.

X+ for X4 is setup for Lathe.

Sorry my description might not be the right one, chucks = holders, i.e. shrick fit for milling cutters

Hey Fish,

 

On the Tool List Section of X+ there is an output for the Manufacturer, Chuck and 2 user defined parameters. These are set on the tool parameters page. You have to manually input the data but once you save it to your tool library is will output on the X+ Tool List.

Is it possible in x+ setup sheet to output Tool diameter and Max Z depth to 3 decimal places? The default output is only 2 decimal places.

Do a search been covered many times, but look at the regional settings for your computer. Set them to use 3 or 4 places and that will take care of the problem. This comes from windows not from Mastercam or X+.

One more question...Can I add a seprator/space between 2 separate NC programs in X+?

Not really sure. I would just use an underscore and not worry about it.
