Possible to extend multiple lines?

I have about 60 lines that I really dont feel like manually analyzing and extending by 3" so gots to me wondering, is there any way I can select them all and extend them all with one function?

If they are all going the same way you could use stretch.

you can create a line perpendicular to the lines you are extending by 3 inches,

 

trim many

only lines

window the lines, you may have to use color mask if there are other lines

select curves to trim

enter

select trimming curve which is the perp line

indicate side of trimming curve

enter

Del, You could use ALT to pick the lines too.

Xform Stretch then window your lines and enter the value to extend them by.

No need to analyze then manually change the value for each line. In trim mode, lock in a value (turns red), then select somewhere near the end you need to extend. Keep picking lines till your done.

Hey Guys,

 

Thanks. I found the Xform Stretch the easiest for having so many lines, but I also tried the trim, add my value and click each. That works just as well, just slightly slower given the quantity of lines.
