Gentlemen:

I’m looking for the following type of person for the South Carolina area. Please let me know who you think I should be speaking with regarding this position? Relocation 6 months furnished apartment, relocation $$ assistance, Single and family insurance paid 100% by company, monthly profit sharing, bonuses, 401K. Degree is a plus.

Manufacturing engineer (degreed mechanical engineer) with strong CAD, CAM & CNC programming, estimating and project management/communication skills. Optimally he’d be strong in 5-axis MasterCAM. $95-$120k+++ salary position, full family healthcare benefits, etc.

Optimally strong in full 5-axis, but 3+2 or extremely strong 4 axis would be acceptable. Strong process oriented skills for assistance with estimating and manufacturing routers and work instructions. Maximum would be $120k, unless the person was truly elite (extremely strong full 5axis, aerospace alloys & .0002 tolerances are bread and butter, specific Mastercam X4, Mazak 5-axis machines, post processor writing/editing, fantastic trainer/coach, degreed engineer w/ MBA or equivalent experience in operations management), thenwould entertain higher. Goal would be to cultivate this person to be the future plant manager with $200k salary/bonus and potentially stock options.

The Manufacturing Engineer is expected to perform, including but not limited to, the following:

• Work closely with Operations Manager and Production Team Leaders to analyze customer jobs for production planning requirements.

• Develop and analyze CNC Programs (3, 4, and 5 axis machining) and tooling requirements using MasterCAM X4.

• Develop and manage Work Instructions and Job Traveler/Router in an ERP software system.

• Assist CNC operators in job setup and changeovers, while also proving out program to validate assumptions and identify process improvement opportunities.

• Assist Estimating Team in evaluating customer RFQ requirements and developing simulations for process cycle times, including tool selection and operating procedures.

• Assist Quality Engineer to coordinate quality and inspection requirements.

• Coach and train staff on advanced machining and programming best practices.

Thanks,
