comm issue

i have a linksys 2.4ghz pcmcia card and was wondering if i could plug it into our card reader on the controller and interface with our network. our DNC hubs are full and i have to come up with something other than the "sneaker net" we are using now.

I would worry about accessing it through the pci slot since you are normally dealing with a internal memory loop on the card. How would you look to directory from the control. Our machines treat the card as a folder. Newer machine handle folder searching better than older ones so if it is newer machine you might be able to, but on our newest machine which is about 5 years old I would not think it would work. Let us know if you get something going.

i was hoping to be able to connect to our network for file access but the card itself is broken and i will have to wait for a new one before i can try anything. i'll post if i get anywhere with it.
