troubles selecting geometry

Hey guys, we just started using our new Dell precision T1500 desktops with MasterCam. These are the computers MasterCam recomends. When i try selecting geometry sometimes it dosent select it. I hit "Esc" or clear colors and then it will select it UNTILL I rotate the model and try to select geometry again and it will NOT let me select anything else! Is this M/C issue or a driver issue? I did download and install the latest nvidia driver for the graphics card. Anybody else having issues like this?

Are you sure you don't have dupilcate geometry

or..

if you have a line drawn at Z1. and another directly under it at Z0 and you're looking straight down, it won't chain either cause it doesn't know which one you want

no duplicate geom. it works if i hit escape or clear colors but if i move or rotate the model then it wont let me select anything again!

did you just import a solid model

try the "regenerate display" command

I re-downloaded the the driver for the third time and i think i have the problem solved. Thanks for your input!
