In the Create Letters dialog box, the font is listed as MCX (Box) Font and if I click the TrueType® button next to it, I select Arial. You're saying that Arial is not Arial? headscratch.gif

 

Following those steps gives me center line geometry.

Doesn't work here. If I pick the TrueType Ariel, I only get outlines. frown.gif

 

 

I think your just using MCX Box. Ariel is not a modifier to MCX Box.

I can select any one of the other fonts from the dropdown and it outputs the correct font (fancy cursive, etc), so it appears that it *is* a modifier to MCX Box. Sounds like something is hosed on your end.
