Set your Z depht to 0 and draw 1 line representing

the top of the angles surface.

Now set Z depth to -.25 and draw the second line

which is the bottom of the angle. This assumes you know the horzontal distance from the first line.

The go to Create/ Surface/Ruled/Single.

Pick the same end of each line, then

click Done then Do it That all there is to it.

Have fun!!

you can create a surface if you want to, but it would be much easier to do a simple "ruled" toolpath,, probably take less time to create and will work just as well,,, create your top view wire frame and in the side view create wire frame on each end going polar on the correct angle and do your "ruled" toolpath between them.

Then you can create a single line at the top. Toolpath, Contour, then select your tool, then go to the second page, click Depth Cuts, check the tapered walls box, give then angle and voila. You may need to add multiple passes but that's the jist of it.

Hope that helps.

Oh, BTW, Good luck in your classes. Learn as much as you can, get hold of a Demo Disk or enroll in the Mastercam Apprentice program and keep on learning.
